Time for another fantastic book haul! This time i raided the local second hand book shop to see if i can find any books that i have been meaning to buy for a while, books that i have electronic copies of but want a paper copy too, and any other books that peaked my interest.

The shop had such a variety of genres and authors, from the modern hits to older classics. And the best part is- when i went into the shop they were having a sale.

Every book was only $2.

Never have i shown so much restraint, and limited myself to only 4 books.

3 of the 4 books i bought were by the same author- Thomas Harris! I love his books, and really wanted to buy ‘Hannibal’, ‘Hannibal Rising’ and ‘The Silence of the Lambs’ hard copies as i read it electronically. I was so excited to see not only 3 of his books in the shop, but relatively old editions that were worn and slightly brown (you know, the brown colour a books turns when it is old- for some reason i love old books and their colour.) They were in great condition too- and i am nearly finished reading ‘The Silence of the Lambs’ for the millionth time.

The last book i bought is by Robin Hobb. I have never read any of her books but i have seen them around and have been very interesting in picking them up eventually. When i saw this book in the shop for only $2 i decided it was time- even if it is the middle of a series book or something of the sort, ill read it and see how it goes. Who know, she may become one of my newest reading addictions.

So there is my overview of my book haul- ill go back to the shop in a couple weeks and browse their collections… and spend way to much money on books.
